Round 12 Season Finale AMA National Motocross Championships at Pala Raceway. Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto can now add 2011 AMA National Motocross Champion to his resume as well! Ryan's second overall has clinched the series championship for him! 2010 Supercross Champion and MX Champ Ryan Dungey did all he could to keep the fight going until the very end, winning the overall today. New 250 National Motocross Champion Dean Wilson, who clinched last week in Delmont, swept both motos today in the 250 class.

In timed practice for Motocross Class, defending Supercross Champion and current MX series points leader Ryan Villopoto has the quickest lap time of the day - 2 minutes 10 second. He's followed by Chad Reed, Justin Barcia, Mike Alessi, and Ryan Dungey fifth at 2 minutes 12 seconds.

Should Ryan Villopoto claim the Motocross Championship today, you would have to say it's been Ryan's year. In his third year riding for Kawasaki in the 450 class, he will have brought home the coveted AMA Supercross Series Championship, and the AMA 450 Motocross Championship. Ryan would most definitely be top 'dawg' in America this year.

The 250 MX Lites timed practice lap times - look at Blake Baggett - 2 minutes 12 seconds. He, Villopto and Dungey will head up 'Team USA' at next weekend's prestigous Motocross of Nations in France, where Team USA will look to claim it's sixth consecutive Chamberlain Trophy as the top team for another year. And second in lap times this morning - Mr. Marvin Musquin! 2 minutes 13 seconds! Third is Eli Tomac, Dean Wilson, Kyle Cunningham and Tyla Rattray.
