In a couple weeks the 2011 AMA Motocross series will come to an end. Things will conclude in Southern California and at what is the newest track on the venue. For those not up with the sport, Pala jumped in when Glen Helen went GP’s. The track itself seemed pretty good considering the short time to prepare and one of the biggest stories out of last year was the traffic nightmare it caused. I have read that this year they are prepared and I bet so are twenty thousand fans, hopefully. The weather should be warm and if I was a betting man I say the track will be as good as last year. Now I don’t have the rider perspective, but as far as a cool track it looked like it had all the makings.
Well I hate to tell you I told you so, but I will. As I predicted Barcia won a moto and had it not been for the bike quitting he would have won the overall. The kid was on fire and I think all the 450 boys need to take notice. Also I wonder if anyone has thought about sending Barcia to Des Nations over Baggett due to the event being a sand race. I think it is clear that Barcia is the best sand guy we have and it looks like we will need it.
2010 Rider Line Ups? It always seems a little hard to tell who is going where and when and this year is no exception. Usually the who is going where is sorted by team, however with so many riders moving around I thought I would take it from the top meaning guys who are actually in consideration and we as a board can piece the rest together as it goes.As time goes on members can email articles or information regarding rider’s futures. If you have some info and would like to update us just PM me and we will check it out and update the rider. Guys this is just for fun so don’t take anything here to serious! The main seats out there are the second Honda seat, the second Suzuki seat and what sounds like a second Kawasaki seat. The rest of the teams typically deal in year to year contracts so let’s see what we think we know. The major team developments are that the
