I raced motocross for a year or 2 waaaay back in 1991 - 1992 on a brand new 1991 KX 60. I hardly practiced before I started to race at Sacramento raceway. I won the series championship in 1992 there. I raced other series too and I raced against some guys back then that are now pro (and they smoked me badly back then LOL) Guys like Casey Johnson, Daniel Blair, Ryan Morais, Bobby Bonds, Baldwin, Tiearney. Props to those guys! Unfortunately my parents got divorced and that was the end of my motocross career! But I will always love dirtbikes regardless and maybe one day will get another one.
maybe baggett was that fast cus his bike is better suited for the track? a lot of those fast sweeping turns the 450s just spin the tires... and theres not a lot of really long straights, which would give 450s HP advantage.
about lappers from the sounds of it once james got by the lappers thought "ok we can go back to racing now" and didnt realize dungey was right behind stew. dungey is not the type of person to make an excuse unless absolutely valid. Now he still might not have passed james for the win but seems like he lost 2-3 seconds. very possible james was able to easily get around the lappers and dungey not. just the way it goes in racing sometimes. whatever, still a solid start for dungey stew fans dont act like bubba is already champ lmao still a LONG way to go... stew could easily have a horrible race the next race as he is known for his inconsistency the last few years. can you say win or yardsale? i have noticed a trend with js he wins and doesnt do well after the win and then he wins again after awhile and doesnt do well again after. Its almost like he wins to shut people up and then loses the focus and drive to continue winning. We shall see though.
Where do you get this trend from?? He is either winning or he is losing. He has never been known for going back and forth.
Um, guess you havent been paying attention the last few years? JS has crashed loads. And ya, won sometimes. But he's not the same guy from 2008 or earlier. Stupid stew fans can keep disrespecting Dungey and his abilities but come the end of 2012 MX i guarantee RD will have atleast 50 poins on stew mark my words... enjoy the glory now JS fans it aint gonna last long. that was a really awesome race to watch. but... i see baggett kind of like stewart, inconsistent. he will be blazing fast and win but then be nowhere the next race. i mean look at bagget and stewart supercross results the last couple years. inconsistent. sure both have blazing fast speed but... i dont think either have the consistency to win championships these days. im also shocked at Braytons results considering how fast he was in SX. gotta think there is an injury of some sort or maybe his leg is bothering him, dunno. or maybe he just made big mistakes in both motos? bad starts? Read More...
stewart fans are so damn annoying, they think cus he wins 1 race that proves anything about if it was the bike or not.. newsflash, he also won races on yamaha in 2011 and 2012... You js fans just wish the season was over now and JS could be crowned mx champ, but just watch, hes gonna do the same *** he always does, win or yardsale. Read More...
I hate how stewart acts like hes not trying to race hard in interviews. says stuff like "oh im just going out there and not expecting much blah blah, focusing on 2013 yada yada". BS. its a slap in the face to dungey but everyone will see who is the champ after a few more rounds Read More...
man isnt rattray coming off a nasty wreck and broken spine? i have a hard time believe he can just jump right into the 450 class and manage podium. he hasnt raced in months and you would think not be balls out attitude after coming off bad injury. Read More...
i really dont think JS can just hop on a suzuki weeks before mx and do great.. also based on sx 2011 and 2012 js was VERY inconsistent. I really dont believe it was much of the bikes fault... maybe a little, but i really think james is blaming the bike way too much for his own mistakes. it will be a miracle if he finishes the outdoor season if you ask me. racing for free? how long will he stick with that if he crashes and gets crap results early on. ya, i think he might win a moto here and there but i think its laughable his fans actually think some miracle turn around is going to happen and hes gonna have a perfect season or just dominate. i guess some people dont pay attention to just how good dungey is... he is every bit as good as villopoto and even villopoto will tell you that. the sport has progress and js rc rc are fast guys of the last generation but now its rv rd and should have been canard but the darn injuries, and barcia tomac and wilson will be very fast on 450s next year and will prolly beat james and chad a lot in 2013 sx...
i really think dungey is going to dominate 2012 mx with rv gone. inconsistent stew on a new bike racing outdoor tracks he hasnt in years? yikes. i really kinda do fear for his safetly, and others... i hope he doesnt go too crazy to try to prove points, but i think he is...
i predict, james will win practice. quickest qualifier or 2nd to dungey. moto 1 2nd place not far back from dungey, moto 2 dungey runs away and not sure where stew finishes i could be totally wrong of course. amazing how fast hangtown has come, just a couple days now. Read More...
Lucifa's hand in his avatar shows what he does to himself every night.
Dungey is a beast and villopoto is no better, they are equals and in 2011 RD was insanely close to winning both sx and mx titles with all the fast guys there for the most part... anyone who *** talks dungey is just an idiot. he is a deserving champion and one of the greatest riders ever in the sport, look what the hell he did in his rookie season, won everything. look what he did on a new ktm, won 4 times and would have battled rv to the last race for the title if not for the fluke injury practicing on a wet unfamiliar track. He will beat Dungey some motos, but he will also crash too much as usual. in the end dungey will be champ more likely that not, and stewart will get 3rd or worse in points more likely than not... Read More...
js is gonna eat *** on his banana just like he did on his grape. dungey is gonna own the hell out of him and prolly other riders will too. Milsaps and Brayton are gonna beat him. Alessi is gonna wanna prove hes the best suzuki rider, james is gonna crash a lot. Read More...
