Thunder Valley Raceway:

Trying out something new, the race promoter at Lakewood ran the outdoor National Motocross at night - under the lights - on Saturday night instead of the traditional Sunday afternoon!

450 Motocross class: Once again, Kawasaki's James Stewart with a double moto win tonight at round 5. Second overall via two second place finishes - Mike Alessi. Third overall went to Davi Millsaps with 4/3, and team-mate Andrew Short going 3/4.

250 Motocross 'Lites' class: Once again a Ryan Villopoto double moto victory. A nice second place went to Josh Grant via 4/2 finishes, as Josh made his return to racing after a layoff. Third overall went to Nico Izzi with 2/4 finishes. Trey Canard fourth with 5/3. Ryan Dungey was third in the first moto, but crashed out in the second moto. Villopoto leads Dungey in the points chase, 241 - 183.
