Re:anyone got or seen the casey stoner power slide? 2 Weeks, 5 Days ago
Oh btw, that is why Nicky is not running up front, not the bike or any other reason. Nicky could do this if he wanted to, I just don't think he is willing to anymore. We will see.

I am not sure if you missed my point or not...so just to clarify. Nicky knows how to ride the bike like Casey does to win, but I don't think he can bring himself to that to push it that hard. It is really hard to say that it is the bike when it is running the way it in Casey's hands. Plus the new Pramac rider has had some very quick success with the bike and he contributes most of it to copying Casey's style to suit the bike rather than the other way around and I think that is what Nicky is doing, kind of trying to force his style onto a machine that runs faster on the edge.
No doubt Nicky is still a top level world class rider.

I agree that stoner does know how to handle it better but i still think it is more of a bike issue. It still seems to shake its head hard coming out of corners and this year they didn't have the top end speed over the other makes.
I think stoner on a yamaha or honda would be unstopable.
I don't think Hayden did himself any favours by signing another year contract

yep sorry i misunderstood what you where saying offroad. i thought you where saying that nicky could ride like that if he wanted to, he just wasnt trying.....i heard similar said about other riders. i think your spot on. much like shumacher at ferrari ducati seem to hae designed a bike that works great for stoner but is difficult for others to master. i think nicky is struggling for confidence in the front end?
