It wasn't that long ago, just a couple of years in fact, Chad Reed won his first supercross championship on a 2 stroke. Same with Charmichal. Everyone talks like its the dark ages. I even remember Reed refusing to ride the 4 stroke, until Yam. forced him to, and he wasn't happy about it either. I just wish some privateers would dust one off, and kick butt with it, just to remind people just how competitive they still are. The pro's get payed to ride 4 strokes! - jerry

i agree stewart and reed are on a level by themselves. And heck ya it would b sweet if somone came in and just dominated on a 2 smoke. it would definatley change the "four strokes are the bette bike" point of view by many. and im still on a smoker 2 jerry. - Andrew Kanik

Hi guys,

It was my first time in Houston. I was pretty impressed. The audio at the track was really good. The track was really nice looking dirt, although some of the riders said it was slick underneath. But overall, a really nice venue. And those top two guys - Stewart and Reed - they are looking like they are on another (faster) planet : )

If you listen to the Chad Reed interview with Aron Bates on speed, He doesn't even mention what he was riding, or drinking for that matter. All he did was talk about how good Stewart was. That man is a class act!!!! - jerry

Hope you guy's arent going to start that stupid brand loyalty crap on this page too. Stewart is going to be fast no matter what he rides. I bet if you put him on a 2 smoke he would still win. That would actually be an exciting race to watch. I wish someone would race a 2 stroke once in a while, just to mix it up a little! Yes, you guessed it, I still race a 2 stroke. - jerry
