Round 15 of the FIM World Motocross Series - Italy. Today it is very hot in Italy, as it was yesterday. KTM's Kenny Roczen and Tony Cairoli have already won the FIM World Motocross titles in MX2 and MX1. Ken Roczen raced a two-stroke 125cc KTM, and Tony did not attend this event. There is lots of news and notes from yesterday's Qualifying Races, which is here. In today's MX2 Grand Prix, Jeffrey Herlings is the overall winner, with Tommy Searle second, Max Anstie third. Gautier Paulin raced MX1 in preparations for the upcoming Motocross of Nations, and did quite well - winning the GP! Second overall another French racer - Christophe Pourcel!

MX2 notes: As mentioned, it's very, very hot here in Italy this weekend. Tommy Searle won the first moto, finished second in the second moto. Jeffrey Herlings finished second in the first moto, and won the second moto. Got it? Jeffrey and Tommy tie on points for the day (47 each), but Jeffrey gets the overall win due to better second moto.
Max Anstie finished third overall - he scored fourth in each race. The man that wrapped up the MX2 World Title last weekend in his home country of Germany, Mr. Ken Roczen, raced a two-stroke 125. In the first moto, he finished fifth. In the second moto he moved up to third, but then dropped out on lap six. He scores 11th overall.
MX1 notes: French domination today - Gautier Paulin, racing on the Yamaha 450, in preparation for next week's Motocross of Nations, won the first moto, and finished second in the second moto. Gautier looks very good and very smooth on the 450. Second overall in the race results - another Frenchman - Christophe Pourcel. Christophe finished eighth in the first moto, and won the second moto. Third overall went to Jon Barragan of Spain.
