Motocross 338
450 Motocross: Team Kawasaki's James Stewart continued his domination of the 2008 AMA National Motocross Series, winning both motos today - that's 22 moto wins in a row - every one this season. If he wins both motos next weekend at the series finale in Steel City PA, he will have accomplished 'The Perfect Season'. Second overall today went to the emerging 'star', number 902 riding a Suzuki, Cody Cooper. He's had some great rides this season, and today was his best yet, 7/2. Third overall went to Tim Ferry, with moto finishes of 4/4.
MX1 Grand Prix regular Marc De Reuver, from Holland, came over to try his hand at racing in America this week. He finished third in the first moto, but DNF (did not finish) the second moto. And how about John Dowd? The local 'boy' raced today, getting moto finishes of ninth and fifth! Not bad for being in his mid 40's!
250 Motocross Lites: Once again, Monster Energy Pro-Circuit Kawasaki's 250 Motocross Liltes Champion Ryan Villopoto won both motos, and the overall victory today at the sandy, bumpy Southwick MX338 track. Second place went to Team Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Ryan Dungey - his moto finishes were 3/2. Third overall on the day went to Brett Metcalfe with finishes of 2/3.
