While still in the amateur ranks, Justin Barcia established himself as one of the top riders on two wheels and a key cog for the GEICO Honda program.

Barcia climbed on his first competitive bike at just 5-years-old and honed his racing skills on the outside terrain in his native New York before moving to Georgia in order to expand his repertoire by racing both indoors and out all year long.

The double venture quickly catapulted him into one of the bike world’s most watched up-and-coming racers. From 2005 to 2007, Barcia earned an astounding 10 amateur titles.
