Chris Gosselaar started racing when he was 4 years old, and became pro at 16. He has had the opportunity to race with great teams, including Factory Kawasaki. Along with his success, Chris has had a career of ups and downs. He has dealt with a few injuries, which has put his training on hold and made it difficult for him to show his full potential. Throughout the years, Chris is consistent with at least one thing, a true passion for the sport of motocross, along with a humble and gracious attitude.
Now at the age of 28, he is the true meaning of what a privateer is. In December he went down to a dealership and purchased a bike. From there he bought a motor package from Pro Circuit. He then sent off all his entries and fees, which came out of his own pocket, at a cost of approximately $2,000, to enter only 6 races. He says, "My brother Todd has been my mechanic and helps me out on the weekends. I go to the races in my pickup truck. I only have the one bike, which is my practice and my race bike." When asking Chris what he sees for this year, he answered, "My goals for the future are to stay healthy and still be a contender in racing."
