Moto 1, it's Ashley Fiolek, the defending Women's National Motocross Champion, with the hole-shot. And as the race settles, it's definitely a battle between #1 Ashley Fiolek, and #250 Jessica Patterson. On the fifth lap, it's Fiolek up front, followed by Patterson, then third is Sarah Whitmore, Vicki Golden, Sheri Cruse, Eliz Bash, K Kocher, Peni Cyrus, and April Zastrow in tenth. On lap seven, Patterson goes past Fiolek and into the lead! On the last lap it's Patterson, Fiolek, Cruse, Whitmore, Golden, Bash, Kocher, Cyrus, Madsen, and Zastrow. But just a few yards away from the checkered flag at the end of the eight lap moto, Fiolek repasses Patterson, and takes the moto win!
Second moto - Ashley Fiolek again with the holeshot, but it looks like Sara Price has passed her. Jessica Patterson is coming around in last place. At the halfway point, it's Fiolek back out in the lead easily, Sheri Cruse is running second, and Vicki Golden is third. Jessica Patterson has come from last place up to ninth on the sixth lap! At the finish, it's Fiolek with the moto win, next comes Cruse, Vicki Golden, then Sara Price and Eliz Bash. Jessica Patterson has moved all the way back up to seventh!
