Jett Lawrence to Undergo Surgery
Jett Lawrence to Undergo Surgery – Out for Supercross
Season
HRC Honda rider Jett Lawrence has confirmed the severity of his injury sustained in the third
main event in Glendale. A torn ACL and a small tear in his meniscus mean the defending
champion will undergo surgery today (4 th February) to get fixed up. Jett said on social media
that the recovery time is expected to be four months, which ultimately puts an end to his run
at defending his 450SX title.
Jett said the following on social media - “I found out today that I tore my ACL and am
having surgery tomorrow to repair it. I’m not exactly sure when I’ll be able to return, but
rehabbing will be my new fulltime job, so I hope to see you guys as soon as possible! I’m
super-bummed to let the fans down, and I can’t wait to get back out there.”
Not the news anyone wanted for #1, hopefully the recovery goes well, and we see Jett
healthy come start of the outdoors.
