About Chase Sexton

Chase Sexton is an American championship-winning racer competing for Monster Energy Kawasaki in the premier 450 class. Known for technical precision, raw speed and one of the smoothest riding styles in the sport, Sexton has established himself as one of the defining riders of the current SuperMotocross era.

The Illinois native earned consecutive 250SX East Region championships in 2019 and 2020 before moving into the premier division. Sexton captured his first 450SX championship in 2023 and followed it with the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross 450 championship.

Sexton joined Monster Energy Kawasaki for the 2026 season and earned two 450SX victories, including wins at Anaheim 2 and the Salt Lake City season finale. He completed the championship sixth overall with 237 points.

His 2026 Pro Motocross campaign ended following a press-day crash at Thunder Valley that resulted in a torn ACL in his right knee. After undergoing surgery, Sexton began focusing on his recovery and a return to competition in 2027.
