About Gage Linville

Gage Linville's rise through the 250 class has been built on making the most of every opportunity that came his way. The Lake Park, Georgia rider first turned heads as an amateur with an AMA Supercross 125 All-Star victory, then took his talent abroad early in his professional career, gaining experience in both the Australian Supercross Championship and the FIM World Supercross Championship.

In AMA competition, Linville established himself with the independent Dirt Bike Depot Racing program, spending the majority of his first three SuperMotocross seasons with the team. He finished a career-high 16th in the 250SX East standings in 2024, then produced the ride of his career at Foxborough in 2025: buried in 20th early in a mud race, Linville charged all the way to third, scoring his first career 250SX podium — and the first podium in Dirt Bike Depot team history. He carried that momentum into the 2025 SMX Playoffs as a wild-card racer, and added the Partzilla Arenacross Open Pro and 250 Pro championships, sweeping both professional titles.

The 2026 season tested him. A crash before the 250SX East opener left him with five broken ribs, a lacerated liver and a collapsed lung, sidelining him for the first months of the season. While recovering, he was released by Dirt Bike Depot to accept a fill-in ride with 5.11 Triumph Factory Racing in place of the injured Jalek Swoll — and after another small crash delayed his return, he finally made his Triumph debut at Denver, finishing 11th for his best result of the season.

On September 28, 2026, Beta USA completed its brand-new factory 250SX roster by signing Linville to a two-year deal alongside Derek Kelley. For a rider who built his name on an independent team, the chance to debut the factory Beta RX 250F in 2027 is the biggest step of his career — and, as he put it on signing, a dedicated factory effort behind him is exactly what he has been working toward.
