About Jaxen Driskell

Jaxen Driskell is an Iowa privateer who has earned his way onto one of the fastest-growing teams in the 250 class the hard way — through the support ranks. The Tabor, Iowa rider came through SX Futures on Yamaha machinery and turned professional in 2025, racing with Gizmo Mods Rock River Yamaha.

Driskell's path changed when he joined the Dirt Legal Dirt Bike Depot organisation in a support role for 2026 — but the season itself was largely lost. A pre-season injury left him chasing fitness before the 250SX season had properly begun, and a crash during the week between the Arlington and Daytona rounds added a shoulder injury that kept him on the sidelines for most of the Supercross campaign.

Rather than move on, DBD kept faith. On October 14, 2026, the team announced Driskell would return for 2027 as a full member of its professional roster — a fifth pro addition beyond the four spots the team had originally planned — joining Luke Fauser, Trevor Colip, CJ Benard and Leum Oehlhof. For a rider entering his third professional season, 2027 is the first real chance to show what a healthy year on proper support looks like.
