About Justin Hill

Justin Hill has taken one of the most unconventional roads of any rider on the 450SX gate. The Yoncalla, Oregon native — the younger brother of former professional Josh Hill — came through the amateur ranks with a Loretta Lynn's 250 B Stock title before turning professional in 2013 with Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki, earning his first Supercross win in his second season.

After stints with Red Bull KTM and the Troy Lee Designs KTM program, Hill returned to Pro Circuit for 2017 and put together the defining season of his career. He won four 250SX West main events, never finished outside the top five all season, and claimed the 2017 AMA Supercross 250SX West Championship. Across his 250SX career he collected eight main-event wins.

Hill moved to the Autotrader/Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing (JGRMX) program for 2018, defending his regional title before stepping up to the 450 class with the team in 2019. After the 2020 Supercross season, Hill stepped away from professional racing to work in law enforcement and did not race in 2021 or 2022.

The comeback, when it came, was on his own terms. Hill returned in 2023 with the family-run Team Tedder operation and immediately reminded the paddock of his speed, scoring a 450SX podium at the 2023 Utah round — his first podium in the premier class. He has remained with Team Tedder since and finished tenth in the 2026 450SX championship with 188 points.

For 2027, Hill returns with Team Tedder as the program takes its biggest step yet — a factory-supported partnership with Husqvarna Mobility, with three-time 450SX champion Cooper Webb joining as his teammate. Hill, who races with his career number 46, remains one of the most naturally talented supercross riders of his generation, and the Tedder-Husqvarna program gives him the strongest platform of his 450 career.
