About Leum Oehlhof

Leum Oehlhof is a second-generation racer — the son of former professional Joe Oehlhof — who has been on the sport's prospect lists since his supermini days. At Loretta Lynn's in 2022, in just his second visit to the Ranch, he won the Supermini 2 (13-16) title with 1-4-1 moto finishes and finished second overall in Supermini 1. That performance earned him a place on the Official Yamaha Factory Amateur Team for 2023, and he finished seventh overall at the RedBud Scouting Moto Combine that summer while still adjusting to a 250F.

Oehlhof spent 2025 with SLR Honda in the SMX Next division, making seven starts with four top-ten finishes and a podium at the Hangtown Moto Combine, where he went 2-3. For 2026 he joined Partzilla Blaster Power PRMX Kawasaki to race Arenacross and SMX Next while preparing his move to the professional ranks — and the move came quickly. On March 7, 2026, he made his professional debut at the Indianapolis Supercross Triple Crown, qualifying straight into the night program and finishing 15th overall (16-16-14) — a debut Swapmoto Live noted after watching him grow up in Southern California before he moved across the country to chase his racing career.

For 2027, Oehlhof steps up full-time as the fourth pro signing on Dirt Legal Dirt Bike Depot KTM Racing's 250SX roster.
