Pro Circuit Kawasaki Announces 2027 Lineup, Signs Nate Thrasher

Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki has officially revealed its rider lineup for the 2027 SuperMotocross season, bringing together five competitors for another championship campaign in the 250 class.

The announcement, made October 19, confirms the arrival of Nate Thrasher from Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing. He joins returning riders Levi Kitchen, Seth Hammaker, Drew Adams and Nick Romano as Mitch Payton's team prepares for the 2027 AMA Supercross, Pro Motocross and SuperMotocross championships.

With Kitchen entering the season as the reigning 250SMX World Champion, the Kawasaki squad combines established winners with developing talent.

Confirmed 2027 Pro Circuit Kawasaki Rider Lineup

All five riders will compete as part of Kawasaki's 250-class program, although individual 250SX East and West assignments have not been confirmed in this announcement.

Nate Thrasher Makes the Move to Kawasaki

The biggest change comes with Nate Thrasher joining Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki after spending his professional career to date with Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing.

Thrasher brings considerable race-winning experience to the team. The Tennessee native earned his seventh career 250SX victory during the 2026 season at Cleveland and has established himself as a consistent race winner in the regional Supercross championships.

The move gives Thrasher a new opportunity with one of the most successful 250-class programs in the sport.

In Kawasaki's announcement, Thrasher expressed his excitement about joining the team and made his ambitions clear: continuing to win races and pursuing his first professional championship.

Levi Kitchen Returns as Defending SMX Champion

Levi Kitchen returns to Pro Circuit Kawasaki following the most significant achievement of his professional career.

Kitchen secured the 2026 250SMX World Championship, delivering the team's 32nd championship title and its first SMX crown.

The Washington native also finished runner-up in the 2026 250SX West Championship and third in the Pro Motocross 250 standings.

With his first professional championship secured, Kitchen enters 2027 looking to defend his SMX title and challenge for championships across the season.

Hammaker, Adams and Romano Complete the Team

Seth Hammaker remains an important part of the Kawasaki program after another competitive 2026 campaign.

Hammaker won the Daytona 250SX East Main Event and finished second in the Eastern Regional Championship standings. He also opened the outdoor season with his first career Pro Motocross overall victory at Fox Raceway before a shoulder injury interrupted his championship campaign.

Drew Adams returns following his second professional season. Adams demonstrated impressive outright speed in 2026, including fastest qualifying performances at Daytona Supercross and the Spring Creek National. The next challenge will be converting that speed into consistent front-running results.

Nick Romano earns a full-time position after initially joining Pro Circuit Kawasaki as a replacement rider during the 2026 Supercross season.

Romano made an impression outdoors, recording his first career Pro Motocross overall podium with third place at Thunder Valley. His move to a full-time seat provides continuity heading into 2027.

Cameron McAdoo Departs Pro Circuit Kawasaki

One notable absence from the announced 2027 lineup is Cameron McAdoo.

After racing for Pro Circuit Kawasaki in 2026, McAdoo is moving to Quad Lock Honda for the upcoming Supercross season. His departure creates room for the team's new five-rider combination.

Kawasaki Sets Its Sights on 2027

The 2027 season will mark Pro Circuit Kawasaki's 34th year of professional racing competition.

With reigning champion Kitchen leading the returning group, Hammaker bringing established race-winning speed, Adams and Romano continuing their development, and Thrasher arriving as a proven Supercross winner, the team enters the new season with multiple potential championship contenders.

The 2027 AMA Supercross Championship begins January 9 at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California.
