Ken Roczen and Cole Davies delivered perfect nights in Auckland on Saturday, sweeping all three finals in their respective classes as the Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship returned to New Zealand.
Round 2 of the 2026 championship ran in a Triple Crown format at North Harbour Stadium — three finals per class, with results tallied across all three races — in front of almost 18,000 fans. Roczen claimed the SX1 overall aboard his Suzuki, while Davies gave the home crowd an SX2 sweep on his Yamaha.
SX1: Roczen Goes 1-1-1
Roczen set the tone early, topping qualifying with a 50.246-second lap before winning the one-lap Superpole shootout in 50.085 seconds.
He and Townsville winner Christian Craig split the heat races, then Roczen controlled all three finals. Craig pushed him throughout the night and finished second in every final, but the German was untouchable when it counted.
The win came just two days after Roczen confirmed he will return to Suzuki in 2027 to defend his AMA Supercross 450SX championship.
Luke Clout finished third in all three finals to complete the podium, ahead of Cedric Soubeyras and Aaron Tanti. Austin Politelli was sixth, with Vince Friese seventh for Stark Factory Racing.

SX2: Davies Sweeps His Home Round
Davies was in a class of his own. The Kiwi topped qualifying in 51.626 seconds — more than half a second clear of Max Anstie — then won all three finals in front of his home fans.
Cameron McAdoo finished second in every final for second overall, a remarkable ride given Honda's post-race release reported he only arrived in New Zealand on Friday after his flight was turned around, and raced while ill. Defending champion Ryder Kingsford completed the podium in third, racing just a month after breaking his collarbone, according to the same release.
Townsville winner Brodie Connolly finished fourth, with Anstie fifth, Kayd Kingsford sixth and Stark's Michael Hicks seventh.

Stark's Electric Bikes Feature Again
The electric Stark VARG machines raced inside the regular classes once again, and all three Stark Factory Racing riders finished inside the top 11 of their divisions.
Friese took seventh overall in SX1 with 41 points on the night, after finishing third in his heat race. Jorge Zaragoza finished 11th in SX1, and Michael Hicks placed seventh in SX2 after a third-place heat finish of his own.
In the championship standings, Zaragoza holds 64 points in SX1 with Friese on 62, while Hicks sits fifth in SX2 on 73 points.
Championship Standings After Round 2
Craig's runner-up finish moved him into the AUSX SX1 points lead on 116, ahead of Clout (100) and Soubeyras (94). Roczen's perfect night earned him 75 points and fourth place in the standings ahead of Geelong, where he is also confirmed to race.
In SX2, Connolly and McAdoo are tied at the top on 94 points apiece. Davies' maximum score puts him third on 75, followed by Lux Turner (74) and Hicks (73).
Auckland also doubled as the opening round of the Australian Supercross Championship, which Roczen and Davies now lead on maximum points after their sweeps.
In SMX Next, Jack Deveson swept all three races ahead of Riley Burgess and Jack Nunn.
