Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing
Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing is Yamaha's official factory presence in the SuperMotocross World Championship, bringing its established 250 operation and premier-class program together under one organization.
Behind the team
Team story
Star Racing began competing in 1999 as a privateer effort and became an officially supported Yamaha program in 2005. In 2021 it expanded to operate Yamaha's factory 450 team alongside its championship-winning 250 effort.
The team's Yamaha YZ250F and YZ450F programs have produced titles across Supercross, Pro Motocross and SuperMotocross. Its recent premier-class history includes Eli Tomac and Cooper Webb, while the 250 program continues to develop riders for the next class. Tomac's earlier Star chapter is kept separate from his later KTM season.
Team management
Founder and owner: Bobby Regan. The team's published 250 personnel include general manager Wil Hahn and team manager Jensen Hendler.
Achievements & milestones
Star's official history records Cole Davies' 2026 250SX East and 250 Pro Motocross titles, Haiden Deegan's 2026 250SX West title and Cooper Webb's 2025 450SX championship.
